He is survived by two children and four grandchildren. Born in May 1949, Dr. Malcolm Aickin has an Honours degree in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews and attended University College London where he gained his PhD. Malcolm was an enthusiastic official for British Carriagedriving, rarely missing an opportunity to attend a training clinic. In 2016 he became a probationary TD, progressing to Regional TD in 2018 and the full list in 2019. Malcolm was a popular addition to the officials at many events and always carried out his duties in a calm and professional manner. The funeral will be held at City of London Crematorium, Aldersbrook Road, London, E12 5DQ on Monday 27th January at 2pm. Following the funeral, friends are invited to celebrate Malcolm’s life at People’s Park Tavern, Victoria Park Road, E9 7BT. No flowers please but if you would like to make a donation, the family are collecting for St John of Jerusalem Parish Church, Lauriston Road, South Hackney (Just Giving for St John of Jerusalem) and Dogs Trust (Just Giving for Dogs Trust).
