Training Report – TD Training at Bennington Carriages – by Training Lead, Katy Stewart
A successful Technical Delegate training day was held at Newark, Nottinghamshire on Saturday 14th March, courtesy of Bennington Carriages, to whom many thanks for their hospitality.
Participants began with a run through of changes to the British Carriagedriving Rule Book 2026 and then completed an open book test.
Dealing with emergencies at an event, both during the competition and outside of it on the show ground, were covered with the importance of prior planning and preparation highlighted.
After lunch scenarios were presented with useful and productive discussions taking place about how best to deal with what was shown.
