Jane Isaac appointed as Chef d’Equipe

 30 March 2022British Carriagedriving

British Carriagedriving would like to announce the appointment of Jane Isaac as Chef d’Equipe for Single Horses.

Many of you will already know Jane as she has been organiser of Hopetoun Horse Driving Trials for over 10 years! Or maybe from the showground when she competed in the Open Single Horse class. Hosting her own International FEI event has given a big insight into top level competitions. As well as an organiser and athlete, Jane is an active member of the British Carriagedriving Council, so has well established connections within the sport.

Jane is looking forward to creating an environment that can bring success whilst maintaining the enjoyment of our sport for both our existing and potential International Single Horse drivers.

“My new role as Chef d’Equipe is very exciting! We currently have a group of experienced and informed drivers which will help me settle in as we work together towards the World Championships 2022 and beyond” commented Jane. “I would like to encourage anyone thinking of putting their name forward for squad selection to contact me - share your ideas, plans etc or just say hi!”

There will be a chance for current and prospective International Single Horse drivers to meet Jane face to face at Ashfields. Details are yet to be defined but if you can make it, you are welcome to come along whether you are competing that weekend or not.

Jane joins Chairman Mary Jane Campbell and fellow Chefs d’Equipe, Minta Winn (Horse Pairs), Zoe Morgan (Horse Fours), Marisa Pinnock (Ponies), Julie Camm (Paras) and Jo Alvis (Young Drivers) on the International Teams Committee.
