International teams Chefs d'Equipe

If you are interested in working with our top drivers, trainers and vets and have some experience of international competitions, then please consider putting your name forward as a Chef d’Equipe.

The current group of Chefs d’Equipe are looking for new faces to join them and will offer support, mentoring and training to ensure that the role can be accomplished effectively and bring job satisfaction and a sense of achievement.

A Chef d’Equipe is responsible for team management for FEI Championships and involves travel around the UK to National competitions and abroad to the World or European Championships.

Chefs need to have a good knowledge of BC sport as a competitor, or close association and experience of international competition.

There will be Chef d’Equipe Zoom training sessions on 10th and 17th February, so if anyone is interested please come forward prior to 3 February 2022. If your specific area of interest is Single Horses, please apply by 31st January at the latest, as this post is currently vacant.

  • Consists of the current Chefs d'Equipe for International Teams
  • Advise council of all matters relating to International Teams
  • Organise group training when appropriate
  • Share experiences to assist in planning for future team events.
  • Identify and train future Chefs
  • If international events are oversubscribed, Chef d'Equipe allocates places
