BC Gateway Class

at Forest of Dean Driving Trials Group

23 August 2021

On Sunday 22nd August the Forest of Dean Driving Trials Group ran a Gateway competition.

Organiser Jane Gillman said “Sunday turned out better weather than we had expected and 13 turnouts enjoyed the good weather. The overnight rain had not affected the going luckily. We had a good number of new drivers and some more experienced ones with new ponies.

All went well with no mishaps, just a couple of senior moments in the obstacles. Everyone said what a nice flowing course it was in the cones and the obstacles, good for new combinations.”

One competitor's comment - “It's a great sport and I'm thrilled there is now something within my ability range! And a lovely rosette too which has pride of place on my mantelpiece !”
