Fabulous new venue to finish the season for Midlands

17 August 2021

Midlands Carriagedriving (MC) has a fabulous new venue to end its 2021 club competition season.

Oasby, in Lincolnshire, (18 and 19 September) is a long-established BE event course offering ample flat parking, plenty of warm-up space and flat dressage and cones arenas with everything close to hand.

The marathon will be 12k to 14k across farmland with superb views. Six obstacles will utilise space around fixed BE jumps and through woodland. There will be catering on-site plus a pub just a five minute walk away.

Obstacles at Oasby will be built around some of the existing BE jumps.  Image courtesy of Bennington Carriages.

As an added incentive, MC will be running its annual Inter-Club Competition at Oasby.

With easy access and well signed from the A52 at Grantham, Oasby (NG32 3ND) is an excellent competition to either end the club season or prepare for the BC National at Osberton in October.

Closing date for entries is 2 September. Entries can be completed online at the MC website (below) or apply to Steve Trebble: Tel: 01623 863846 or email: stephentrebble@btinternet.com
