Those of you who attended the Ashfields Driving Trials in September will have seen a TV production company following three drivers: Katy Alvis and John and Daniel Stafford. Other event officials were also interviewed for the programme. Episode 7 of The Farmers' Country Showdown will be shown on BBC1 on Tuesday 12 January at 15:45. From BBC programme guide: "Two farming families gear up for the horse carriage marathon at Ashfields Carriage and Polo Club in Essex. Three generations from a sheep farm in Newcastle make the 240-mile journey, but all eyes are on how their youngest, 16-year-old Daniel, will do. Jo Alvis and her daughter Katy, who has represented Great Britain in the junior championships, also have a lot to prove on the tricky obstacle course." The 45 minute long programme will be repeated on Wednesday 13 January at 07:15 on BBC2 and will also be available on iPlayer. Programme link: The Farmer's Country Showdown
