Training restarts at East Anglia
2 July 2020

East Anglian Carriage Driving Group

As Government guidelines began to lift, East Anglian Carriage Driving Group (EACDG) saw the opportunity to press restart on the Training Calendar.

On 20th and 21st June, day clinics were held at Ashfields Carriage and Polo Club, with trainers Wilf Bowman-Ripley, Anna Grayston, Sara Howe and Minta Winn.

Everyone's Safety was paramount and the organisers did a superb job at introducing new measures to ensure distancing, sanitisation and government guidelines were met.

The two days were a huge success and it was uplifting to see so many drivers out again!

British Young Driver Phoebe Matthews was among those who attended the clinics, she commented "It was fantastic to get back to driving last weekend and good to see lots of people there. I learnt loads of new things and it was really great to see all the trainers again."
