The Welfare Committee of British Carriagedriving is committed to upholding the highest standards of horse welfare and protecting the sport’s Social Licence to Operate (SLO) in the United Kingdom.
We work to ensure that the wellbeing of the horse remains central to carriage driving. By gathering reliable evidence, identifying emerging concerns, and providing clear, practical guidance, we support drivers in maintaining best practice. We also promote transparency and public understanding to safeguard the future of our sport.
