Midlands Carriagedriving
It is with further regret that Midlands Carriagedriving announces the cancellation of both Thoresby Park (16-17 May) and Locko Park (6-7 June) competitions due to the continuing lockdown caused by the outbreak of coronavirus. It is hoped that one or both events may be re-scheduled for later in the season. Please check www.midlandscarriagedriving.co.uk for further information.

Windsor Park Equestrian Club

It is with great regret that WPEC committee have taken the decision to cancel all ridden dressage and carriage driving events until the end of May. This includes the Regional Carriage Driving event on 30-31st May 2020.

We have taken the decision based on the latest government recommendations and information surrounding COVID-19. The health of our competitors, officials and helpers are paramount to us and we will continue to review the latest information and will keep you all up to date with any further decisions we make. This may also include reinstating a May club meet if the COVID-19 situation alters for the better.

The committee would like to thank all our members, competitors, helpers and officials for your continued support of the club and as soon as it is safe to do so we will resume our events.

Hopetoun National Driving Trials cancelled
It is with much regret that the organisers have taken the decision to cancel Hopetoun in 2020. The original plan was to postpone to a later date, but the logistics of such a move have made this impracticable. The organising committee hope everyone stays safe and look forward to welcoming you to their event in May 2021.
Ashfields postpones National Driving Trials

Unfortunately, due to current circumstances, the organisers are going to have to postpone Ashfields National event on the 1st/2nd/3rd May. They are remaining very positive and hope that the event can be rescheduled as soon as the things return to normal.

Sandringham cancelled for 2020

Following Government guidelines announced on Monday 16 March 2020, stating that mass gatherings will not be supported by emergency services, and recent announcements regarding social distancing, it is with enormous regret that the organising committee have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel the Sandringham Carriage Driving Event, the Coaching Driving Meet and the Attelage d'Tradition Event, which were planned to take place from 26th to 28th June 2020.

The health of the competitors, trade stand holders, sponsors, officials, volunteers and visiting public is top priority. The organising committee would like to thank everyone associated with the event for their continued support, and they are already planning a Carriage Driving Event for June 2021 to compensate for this year’s disappointment.

It is with great regret that Midlands Carriagedriving announces the cancellation of its seasonal opening event at Anslow, near Tutbury, scheduled to take place on 11-12 April, due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.

A decision on whether to hold events at Thoresby Park (16-17 May) and Locko Park (6-7 June) will be made at a later date.

Please check www.midlandscarriagedriving.co.uk for further information.

In light of the current situation with regard to the Covid-19 outbreak and in line with government guidelines, NEDTL have today taken the decision to cancel our early season events. This means that with regret, the following will now not take place:

Sponsored drive - 5th April
Arena Challenge - 13th April
Escrick Park event - 25th/26th April
Newby Hall event - 9th/10th May

Obviously, we will monitor the on-going situation with regard to events due to take place later in the year and will keep everyone informed accordingly. Please keep an eye on the Facebook page and website for further updates. Stay safe everyone.
