Saturday on-line event

23 May 2020

British Carriagedriving events are going on-line for members.

On Saturday 23rd May at 6 pm we will have the "Hopetoun National" on-line event. You can join in with both the Quiz and the Zoom meeting, or only one if you prefer.

The event will start with the Harness Stuff quiz, which offers a brilliant prize of a £50 voucher to the winner (if you win more than one quiz you can add them up).

The quiz is automated, so once it starts, you can’t go back; make sure you log in early. You get bonus points if you answer quickly and there’s a real-time leaderboard which will calculate the winner.

The quiz questions will be a mix of general knowledge, driving and equestrian related questions. As this is the "Hopetoun" event, there will be some Scottish related questions.

Join the Harness Stuff Quiz at 6 p.m. using this link:

When the quiz is complete, at 6.20pm, we’ll have a Zoom on-line get together (have a glass of your favourite tipple handy).

You can log on early and sit in the Waiting Room until the Zoom meeting begins.

You can either use the Zoom app or your web browser. For mobile phones and tablets you can get the Zoom app from the App Store or Google Play.

Alternatively, you can dial in (voice only) on: 0203 481 5237 or 0131 460 1196. The Meeting ID is: 980 1429 6906

This year the Hopetoun Event is raising money for The Bob Champion Cancer Trust. In addition to a general meet-up chat, Alex Imbiricos from the Trust will be on hand to talk about the charity’s work. If you would like to support this charity on behalf of Hopetoun, donations can be made via justgiving: or you can use the “donate now” button on the Trust’s website

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible “at Hopetoun”.
