Midlands returns to Thoresby Park for Club Championships
20 August 2019
Midlands Carriagedriving (MC) returns to Thoresby Park on 14 and 15 September for its 2019 Geoff Samson Club Championships.

Classes are open to all, including Short Format, plus there’s the added incentive of competing for the Paul Tointon Team Trophy.

Competitors at MC’s event at Thoresby Park back in May enjoyed a wonderful marathon route through the estate which covered around 14km with six obstacles; the Short Format class being 6km with four obstacles.

The dressage and cones arenas will be laid out adjacent to the lorry park, which is spacious and flat, and there will be an optional hot meal in the community hall on Saturday evening.

With the BC National Championships done and dusted two weeks earlier, Thoresby Park is a great place to round off the season.

A full range of classes is on offer from Pre-Novice through to Multiples and Teams as well as the afore-mentioned Short Format.

Entries close 31 August 2019 and can be made by post or online.

Thoresby Park is easily accessed from the A1, being approximately five miles south of Worksop and near Perlethorpe (NG22 9EP). The horsebox park will be open from midday on Friday 13 September.
