Get your entries in for Frickley Park – and if not competing, please come and steward

Competitors are urged to get their entries in for yet another exciting new Midlands Carriagedriving venue at Frickley Park, 6 and 7 July, which is being organised by Anne and Mark Chambers.

Dressage will take place in front of Frickley House

The park is a fabulous location for driving trials; dressage will take place in front of Frickley House while the marathon will include a water obstacle in a lovely setting. An optional meal on the Saturday evening will be available. Entries close this Saturday (22 June) although late entries will be accepted subject to numbers. North East Driving Trials’ members can enter for the same fee as Midlands’ members. Contact Lesley West on 01630 661314 or email: soudley@btinternet.com

A lovely setting for the water obstacle at Frickley Park

More stewards are needed to help this event go with a swing – who can resist a day out in such lovely countryside? So many Midlands’ past competitors have successfully moved up to National level and it would be great to see them again, supporting the club as stewards. Please contact Anne or Mark on 01636 821154 if you can help.

Frickley Park is in South Yorkshire, between Hooton Pagnell and South Kirkby, about five miles from Junction 37 of the A1, postcode DN5 7BU.
