12-13 March at Lipica stud, Slovenia
This 2-day seminar will take place at the world-famous stud at Lipica in Slovenia, the birthplace of Lipizzaner horses. Lipica will be the location of the 2011 FEI World Combined Pony Driving Championships.
The International Driving Seminar on 12 and 13 March is for for drivers as well as trainers and officials and will be conducted in English.
The seminar will consist of several theoretical and practical sessions.
German FEI Official Judge Dr. Franz Vetter will give a presentation on the subject of ?What is good driving sport,?
Official course designer Christian Iseli will give a presentation on marathon obstacle building and Jozef Dibak and Vilmos Jambor will be present with their horses to show correct preparation of driving horses.
The cost for this two-day seminar is 88 Euro per person, including dinner on Saturday evening.
This promises to be a really interesting weekend and Lipica is a huge and world-famous stud. For delegates travelling from Britain, there are two hotels on site, bookable through the Lipica website. Nearest airport is Trieste (NE Italy) and Lipica is also accessible via Ljubljana (Capital of Slovenia) and Venice (Italy).
