Have you Joined Team GBR Ontrack yet?

Team GBR Ontrack is now live, launched in partnership with the equestrian Olympic and Paralympic teams via British Eventing, the British Show Jumping Association and British Dressage, bringing together all equestrian and horse sport activity in the UK under one supporters club. Visit www.teamgbrontrack.com to join today.

Supported by the vital organisations that help produce our medal winners including The Pony Club, The British Horse Society, The Riding for the Disabled Association, The Association of British Riding Schools and also the equestrian sports of Driving, Reining, Endurance, Vaulting, Horseball, Polocrosse and Mounted Games. Team GBR Ontrack aims to raise the profile of equestrian sport in the UK and to provide funds to help potential medal winners train, compete, and achieve their goals.

Join today for your chance to win a VIP trip to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010 in Kentucky, USA. The first 500 members will also receive one of just 500 exclusive black membership cards ? these are going fast so hurry!

Team GBR Ontrack is designed for anyone that has an interest in equestrianism and the countryside and who wants to be part of Team GBR and show their support. It offers a range of benefits and includes two options to join ? basic membership is completely FREE and full membership includes a one-off fee of just ?20.

All members will receive a monthly e-newsletter to keep you abreast of what is going on across the equestrian sports and a variety of special offers and discounts. You will also receive invitations to exclusive GBR Ontrack fund raising events and access to the online publication Impulsion, which will now only be available to GBR Ontrack supporters.

Full membership includes a one off fee of ?20 and includes significant further benefits including a Team GBR Ontrack membership card, which also acts as a loyalty, discount and prepaid debit card. This card will give access to a wide range of further discounts, special offers and additional benefits. The discounts are on the things you really need - feed and forage, veterinary services, saddlery, tack, clothing and tickets at selected events.

Vitally, by purchasing full membership and using your card you will be helping to raise funds to help potential medal winners train, compete and achieve their goals.

Although equestrian sport in the UK receives substantial lottery funding, unfortunately this financial support is not enough to cover all the costs associated with sending individuals and teams to international competitions, especially when they are abroad.

In particular, Team GBR urgently needs to raise additional funds in order to take a full team to Kentucky for the World Equestrian Games in 2010. With eight sports included in the programme, totalling over 50 horses, this is a very big and expensive logistical challenge and one for which we really need your support.

One lucky GBR Ontrack supporter will win a VIP trip for two to the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, USA. The first 500 full members will receive an exclusive, limited edition black card ? join online today at www.teamgbrontrack.com

GBR Ontrack Launch

Team GBR Ontrack will be officially launched at an exclusive fundraising event on Tuesday 8th September in a magnificent Cotswold setting at the Unicorn Trust in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire. The day will also help raise funds for Equestrian Team GBR.

This ?not-to-be-missed? event will be truly inspiring. Come and meet the medallists of the past and future, enjoy some outstanding horsemanship, and let us indulge you with a delectable lunch, whilst you kickback and relax in this truly beautiful setting.

Olympic, Paralympic, World and European medallists will be joining us for the day and guests will have chance to chat to them and find out what makes them so successful. Confirmed guests include one of Britain?s best known riders, Mary King; Joanne Eccles, Britain?s first vaulting medallist and multi-Paralympic medallists Anne Dunham and Simon Laurens. With lots of other great names due to join us and plenty of the country?s rising stars in attendance it promises to be a brilliant day.

The day kicks off at 11.30 with a champagne reception hosted by Petplan and the John Lewis Partnership who are both very kindly putting their support behind Team GBR and the fundraising initiatives.

During the day you will be able to watch riders from each of the different World Equestrian Games sports demonstrate their exceptional skills, together with some other unique performances.

Throughout the day there will be various fund raising activities including the opportunity to buy a raffle ticket with your chance to win a ?100,000 horsebox that has been kindly donated by Olympic coachbuilders and the chance to a bid for the auction which has some exceptional prizes donated by our team riders.

All monies raised from this event will go to support the British Equestrian Teams. A World Equestrian Games includes the eight disciplines of dressage, eventing, show jumping, para-equestrian dressage, driving, endurance, reining and vaulting ? for the British team this is more than 51 horses in total that will need to travel to America next year.
?The Games are being held in Kentucky, USA, the first time they have ever been held outside Europe,? comments Will Connell, Equestrian Performance Director. ?To send a full team and remain one of the top equestrian nations in the world, we need your help. All proceeds of this event will go towards sending the team to the Games and supporting our talented riders in their quest to compete and win on the World stage. Without your help we will not be able to send a full team.?

The Olympic and Paralympic teams are generously supported by lottery funding via UK Sport, but the non-Olympic sports of driving, endurance, reining and vaulting do not receive funding of any kind. ?500,000 is needed to support those teams and fund their trip to Kentucky next year.

We really hope that you will be able to attend and show your support towards all our British Equestrian Teams. Tickets cost ?120 per person or ?200 per couple. Tickets include a beautiful lunch with fine wines.
Please note that only 250 tickets are available, so in order to avoid disappointment we strongly recommend that you contact us soon.

To purchase tickets please send a cheque payable to The British Equestrian Federation to: Team GBR Ontrack Fundraising Event, British Equestrian Federation, Stoneleigh Park, Kenilworth, Warks, CV8 2RH. Please enclose details of where the tickets need to be sent.
