FEI Criteria for World Championships
3 July 2006

The FEI Driving Committee have announced the following criteria and time frame for qualification, as well as the Dressage Tests that will be used at the forthcoming World Championships and WEG in 2006.

 

World Equestrian Games - Aachen (GER), 20 August - 3 September 2006

Dressage Test Teams - Test 8

Driver and all horses must successfully complete a National or International Driving Competition, and in doing so achieve a mark of 70 penalty points or less in the Dressage Phase, and have successfully completed a Marathon Phase consisting of at least three sections, as outlined in art. 901.11.2.2 and art. 901.11.2.3, all within the current year of the Championships or within the previous calendar year.

World Singles Driving Championships - Pratoni (ITA), 21-24 September 2006

Dressage Test single - Test 7

Driver and all horses must successfully complete a National or International Driving Competition, and in doing so achieve a mark of 60 penalty points or less in the Dressage Phase, and have successfully completed a Marathon Phase consisting of at least three sections, as outlined in art. 901.11.2.2 and art. 901.11.2.3 all within the current year of the Championships or within the previous calendar year.

The FEI Driving Technical Committee have announced the qualification criteria for the following World Driving Championships:

2007 World Combined Pony Championships ? Dorthealyst, (DEN) 18th July ? 22nd July

Dressage Test 7 - Pairs/Singles, Test 6 - Fours

Drivers and all ponies must successfully complete all three competitions at an FEI-approved combined National Driving Event at which there is a foreign FEI judge, or an FEI International Driving Event and, in doing so, achieve a result of 65 penalty points or less in the Dressage Competition, Tests 6, 7 or 8, as outlined in art. 901 of the FEI Rules for Driving. This criteria to be achieved in current year of the Championship, up to the date for nominated entries, or during 2006.

2007 World Horse Pairs Championships ? Warka, (POL) 30th August ? 2nd September.

Dressage Test 8

Drivers and all horses must successfully complete all three competitions at an FEI-approved combined National Driving Event at which there is a foreign FEI judge, or an FEI International Driving Event and, in doing so, achieve a result of 60 penalty points or less in the Dressage Competition, Test 8, as outlined in art 901 of the FEI Rules for Driving. This criteria to be achieved in current year of the Championship, up to the date for nominated entries, or during 2006.
