Flying Dutchman heads for Ardingly !

Aart van de Kamp, 11 times Dutch national pony team champion and his famous Shetland pony teams fly into Ardingly this week to take part in the annual South of England Carriage Driving Fair.

The biggest indoor driving show in England hosted by Brockham Harness Club celebrates its 10th year at the South of England Showground on Sunday 12th March and looks set to be the best ever.

The show offers everybody the chance to enjoy some of the best carriage driving in the world all under one roof.

The programme in the main arena starts at 10am and combines thrilling competition, instructional & informative displays and sheer entertainment from leading carriage drivers and equestrian personalities, such as Karen Bassett, Boyd Exell, Dick Lane, Gary Docking and Di Hayes.

Main arena attractions include Baileys junior musical drive, International Horse Team competition, Heavy Horses in action, Ridden dressage, Private driving with the BDS, Scurry competition, Driving with the RDA and the Gary Docking makeover and also includes master classes with the country?s top trainers.

A huge range of trade stands compliment the arena activities and there?s also a chance to? have a go at driving ? under expert supervision.

It?s a perfect day for the family, with free admission for children, free parking, loads of interesting catering and its all inside. Chance to win a Tedex Harness, driving lessons, horse feed and much more in a grand draw.
