Sainted Pony Needed !
Viki Edmondson is looking for something very special, she says:-
I have a client who has a daughter aged 8 yrs with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She is permanently wheel-chair bound and currently has a little 12 hh pony (aged ancient) called 'Spice' who is a heavenly saint; if Octavia drops her Teddy, he will stop and guard the Teddy until someone comes and helps.
Octavia has very poor grip and so leading 'Spice' is really the lead rope sitting in her lap with it draped over her hand, so he works on voice only.
But, apart from being ancient (or because of being ancient) he has Cushings, Laminitis etc. - and 'Spice Mark II' is needed. Preferably about 12 - 12.2 hh, drive - and preferably ride as well. Age is immaterial (less than 'ancient' would be good!) and preferably no limping (although if he/she's a golden oldie and a little Bute helps the comfort levels, that's OK.
There is a first class, caring, knowledgeable home awaiting - and the pony will not want for ANYTHING.
Smooth surfaces only will be used (for Octavia's sake too).
Loan or buy. Will live in Surrey initially, then long-term in Dorset.
