Coaching Consultants Required
The British Equestrian Federation (BEF) has been working extensively with sport and with Government and has embraced the forthcoming new UK Coaching Certificate (UKCC) for Equestrian sport and leisure.
Having established a plan and secured funding, the Federation?s members now seek up to three skilled contractors to develop and write the materials for future equestrian coaching qualifications and education. These qualifications will be available from January 2007. The contracts are flexible according to the skills and needs of applicants and are currently titled:
Consultant Coaching Qualifications Development Officer
Contract fees range from ?12,000 to ?29,000 for the period May 2005 ? April 2006 (approx).
The positions require team-oriented people who are highly skilled and experienced in technical authoring and/or learning programme design, who have a sound knowledge and experience of modern sports coaching and assessment principles, and who wish to contribute to the future of equestrian coaching, teaching and instructing. An equestrian background may be desirable, but is not essential for all positions.
