|New chairman of the FEI Driving Committee |

At its meeting in Paris on 20-21 April 2004, the FEI General Assembly has voted Richard Nicoll (USA) as new chairman of the FEI Driving Committee.
Nicoll received 58 votes, the other candidates, Marek Zaleski (Pol) and Helmut Kolouch (Aut) received 40 and 14 votes respectively.
Nicoll, FEI international course designer & technical delegate of driving trials, was deputy chairman under Jack Pemberton (Can), who resigned in February this year. Nicoll acted as acting chairman for the past two months. He was the course designer at the Royal Windsor International Grand Prix in 2002 and 2003.
Mr. Baron Wolf von Buchholtz (Arg), an active international four-in-hand driver and chef d?equipe, was appointed member of the FEI Driving Committee, which further consists of Richard James (Gbr), Tomas Eriksson (Swe) and Tomas Torgersen (Swe).
