About Spinal Research:

Until recently, repairing a spinal cord injury was thought impossible - a view that Spinal Research was determined to change. For over 20 years Spinal Research has been raising money for groundbreaking projects at scientific and medical institutions around the world, in order to make the repair of spinal cord injuries a reality.

Spinal Research are now working towards the launch of clinical trials, in which paralysed volunteers will test pioneering treatments which could help to restore feeling and movement. This is a huge step towards a future where paralysis is no longer an inevitability.

The Long Mynd ride and carriage drive is a three-day circular ride and carriage drive, with each day covering a different route and with the option of camping facilities for those wanting to ride or drive for more than one day. There will be a route suitable for disabled participants.

We do hope some BHDTA members may be interested in taking part and helping this most worthwhile cause. We can assure them of a friendly welcome and an fun event in superb scenery.
